    Happy Tree Friends

Since alot of people like Homestarrunner I figured I would post this site for everyone...this is another site dedicated to flash cartoons...these cartoons have alot of violence in them for the humor...they're pretty funny (not as funny as homestar), it's a good place to waste some time...the cartoons are pretty gory, even for cartoons...check em out...

So...I'm talking with my cousin about his animation project he is doing for the Parks and Recreation department...my cousin uses flash and is very artistic...he was approached about doing a water safety cartoon for children to learn to wear their life jackets...he hasn't finished yet but here is where the site is... Bobber! The water safety dog! ...

so he was talking about the cartoons and how much they cost and he said when they first started talking about the project they contacted the people who made the Happy Tree Friends to see how much they would charge to make a cartoon like they were wanting...you know how much they would charge for a single episode?...$30,000!...fuck that's expensive!...

Those are very very twisted, and 30,000 dollars seems like a lot, but i am sure that some places charge more than that for flash animations/web sites and other computer services.

at 75 dollars an hour (which I believe is the going rate for computer service charges), that's only 400 hours of work. most of those projects consist of at least 2 and 3 people, let's use 2 for our purposes. that's 200 hours each, 40 hours in a work week, that is only 5 weeks. that would be 30,000 dollars in 5 weeks of work for two people, we should do something like that....we could retire after our first year of doing it.

there is nothing wrong with swimming to the buoy....it is the far end of the swimming area. and as long as you are wearing your safety swimwear, you are ok....as long as you are in the safe swimming area, as the kids are

Yeah...to be honest...the reason I don't watch their episodes all the time is because the damn credits are at the beginning of every cartoon...you wait through 3 minutes of credits and commercials for a 30 second cartoon...
